Safe, Professional, Interval Training for Youth
I.M.F.A.S.T. (In Motion Functional Athletic Strength Training) is a comprehensive youth fitness program that is easy to teach and incorporates necessary features to stimulate the successful development of each child’s ability to become fit while also mastering self-control.
The Covid-19 pandemic not only created new health issues, but also underscored existing ones. Specifically, the problem of inactivity and CHILDHOOD OBESITY. With little to no school activities happening, kids are missing out on 7,000 to 10,000 steps a day. This is adding to the huge decrease in physical activity being constantly created by the convenience that technology has had on increasing computer and phone use, television and video games, and to some extent general life activities.
School age students are becoming more overweight and developing behavior patterns that worsen this already persistent pattern.
I.M.F.A.S.T. has successfully addressed these issues. The result is better physical condition and the knowledge to have a more productive and health-enhancing attitude toward everyday life, for today and for the future.
Our Mission
Improving Student Health and Mobility with Interactive Sport Science and Technology. Along the way, I.M.F.A.S.T. trains and empowers nonprofits to build a team to run the program on their own. This self-reliance allows these nonprofit partners to offer the I.M.F.A.S.T. program for free or at a dramatically discount rate bringing this program and its benefits to many underprivileged youth.
